SECURITY SUPERVISOR

The Security Supervisor is responsible for implementing and enforcing security policies, monitoring compliance, managing security staff (through a third-party security company), and responding to security incidents to safeguard company assets, personnel, and operations.

Major Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Operations & Services Manager, the Security Supervisor will be responsible for the following but not limited to

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures that are consistently implemented and followed to ensure safety and protection across the organization.
• Supervise the day-to-day security operations across assigned distribution centres as well as security service providers, including guards, surveillance systems, and access control.
• Coordinate and supervise contracted security staff, ensuring they adhere to the outlined procedural policies in keeping with their outlined contractual agreements and communicated key performance indicators (KPI).
• Conduct training sessions for security personnel on updated procedures and incident handling.
• Raise awareness among distribution centres staff regarding security protocols and practices.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, audits, and staff activities.
• Prepare and submit regular security reports to the Regional Operations and Services Manager.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field is preferred.
• Professional Security & Management Certification ie. Supervisory Management, Fraud Investigation or other relevant security certifications are highly desirable.
• At least 2-4 years of supervisory experience in security management, law enforcement (JCF/JDF/Corporal), or related roles.
• Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control) and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Security. Safety & Risk Management best practices
