Security Officer

Our client is seeking a security officer to assist in maintaining safety and protecting the organization’s assets.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

SECURITY OFFICER

Location: Port-of-Spain

Industry: Hospitality & Tourism

Qualifications & Experience:

• Successful completion of at least five (5) CXC/O'Level subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Security Training Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ work-related experience in security or related field

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol all areas of the property

• Assist guests with room access and address their service needs
• Lock property entrances as required
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations
• Defuse disturbances involving guests or employee
• Call for outside assistance if needed
• Handle interruptions and complaints; resolve safety hazards
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting operations
• Report to vehicle accident/theft scenes
• Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions 
• Complete safety training and certifications
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
