Focus on achieving assigned quotas for the sales period, ensuring that sales targets are met through attracting new, retaining and growing existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer service, placing heavy importance on brand experience and customer satisfaction
  • Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in person putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unique sales tactics
  • Learn customers’ needs and wants and personalize purchase opportunities /solutions to fulfill them
  • Familiarizing customers with new and existing products by securing samples, literature and specifications, establishing personal relationships through sales calls and providing market intelligence to management
  • Maintain a strong understanding about product inventory, features and technical data to answer specific customer questions
  • Give customers in-person product demonstrations and teach them about the features and benefits of the company’s product offerings
  • Ensure that all quotations and purchase orders are handled in a timely manner.
  • Work as a team player, upholding company policies with integrity in all aspects of customer service and contributing to a professional and positive working environment
  • Generate leads and grow existing relationships/new business while maintaining an accurate, detailed client base, and developing an active, repeat customer base
  • Utilize Sage Sales System to ensure standard processes during all sales stages to conduct daily, month-end and year-end close processes
  • Works closely with Accounts Receivable team to maintain current and collectible aging to reduce debt
  • Attend weekly sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals and obstacles
  • Participate in training sessions while seeking opportunities to improve performance, personal growth and development
  • Provide customer with an immediate feedback either by emails, in house or telephone queries
  • Perform other duties as assigned
