Sales Representative - Van Salesman (Island wide)

Mother’s Bakery is expanding its sales presence island wide and is seeking to hire experienced sales representatives with a focus on van (route) sales.

Main Responsibilities:

• Introduce and sell the full range of Mother’s Bakery products to current & prospective customers on assigned routes.
• Receive orders and make delivery to credit customers.
• Increase sales within designated routes and areas not currently serviced.
• Ensure that goods are merchandised.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities at every opportunity.
• Offer excellent customer service to current &prospective customers.
• Resolve customer related issues as they arise.

Qualification, Experience& Skills:

• Minimum High School education
• Must possess a general driver’s licence
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Special Conditions:

• Highly level of honesty, especially with handling cash for the company
• High level of integrity; ensure that there is follow through with commitments
• Good driving record
• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit
• Clean Police Record
