The incumbent will be required to profitably promote and market the Company’s range of products and provide excellent customer service, with key focus on the specified channels/routes/accounts and on timely collections of all payments.
1. Promoting and selling of the Company’s products, continuously seeking new opportunities for introducing products to customers.
2. Placing customers’ orders and following up on delivery of products.
3. Handling customer questions, complaints and billing queries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
4. Managing customers’ accounts within the limits of the credit facilities offered to them, in accordance with Company Policy.
5. Collecting revenue and making authorised adjustments to customers’ accounts where necessary.
6. Keeping management informed by submitting activity reports such as: - daily visit reports and territory analysis
. 7. Monitoring in-store displays of products to ensure visibility of products.
8. Verifying inventory wherever the Company’s products are sold and ensuring availability of product.
9. Assisting in implementing advertising/promotional campaigns.
10. Conducting market research as requested from time to time
11. Continually maintaining working knowledge of all Company products, services, pricing and promotions.
12. Making recommendations according to customers’ needs.
13. Performs in-store promotions including sampling as required
14. Attends meetings and training/product development seminars as required.
