Job Overview:

Develops new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling and servicing existing accounts.

Meet sales target and profit goals.

Manage the sales processes and provide account management and customer service.

Assists in the life cycle of order process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets set by Sales Manager/ Director.
  • Develop and manage strong client relationships and establish a deep and ongoing understanding of the client's business goals, issues and needs.
  • Executes call or first contact strategy and establishes rapport or follow-up with prospects; schedules consultative meetings and presentations to obtain future business.
  • Will develop an effective sales activity pipeline of sufficient cold calls, referrals, lead qualification, sustainable relationships, acceptable order volume and product replacement opportunities.
  • Proactively follow up on new leads and customers. Promptly follow up on marketing campaign or trade show leads. Qualify leads to determine project viability.
  • Develop, administer, and adjust content of sales presentations in accordance with prepared sales plan.
  • Ensure all solution requirements are delivered by following up with Project Manager and Solution Engineer on post-installation audit to ensure all items are ordered, installed, and repaired, where applicable.
  • Assist with accounts receivables.
  • Provide sales forecasts detailing active projects/prospects.
  • Prepare responses for bid submissions, Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotations.
  • Prepare sales proposals.
  • Use CRM (e.g., Zoho CRM) to log all support/ sales/ service requests as open tickets to be processed/ completed by Technical Dept. Ensure tickets are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Ability to generate new business opportunities as wells as increase sales through existing customers.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous sales experience and successful track record, preferably 3 years+ with measurable success
  • Strong ICT/AV solutions sales experience is a PLUS.
  • BA/BS degree in Sales and Marketing preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Training or certification in a related ICT field is a PLUS.
  • PC skills: proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.

Other working requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle record that meets CARIBTECH driving standards. The applicant must operate a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Flexible work hours - The job may require working on weekends and outside of normal work hours during the week.
  • Must be able to travel off-site to corporate locations as part of the sales process.
  • The Job may require travel overseas, therefore successful candidates must have an up-to-date passport and be able to travel overseas on short notice.
  • Participation in industry/ vendor training sessions, seminars and conventions is required.
