Marketing and selling motor vehicles to meet monthly sales targets. Initiating sales discussions, identifying and calling on prospective customers. Resolving customers complaints. Ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service provided.

The Stewart's Automotive Group is seeking an enterprising and results-driven sales professional to fill the position of Sales Representative. The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the initiative and resourcefulness to identify potential customers, create leads and turn them into loyal clients. They must possess a competitive nature, coupled with a customer-centric approach, to ensure that sales targets are met, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

                                                     

The duties and responsibilities of the selected individuals will include:

  • Developing a robust list of leads and identifying new prospects through market research, networking and other creative methods.
  • Delivering compelling sales pitches, demonstrations and test drives, showcasing the benefits of key features, warranty and service packages.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized records of all sales activities, including lead lists, customer information, sales results, and other relevant data.
  • Partnering with the Marketing Department in the execution of sales events, trade shows and other promotional activities to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Following policies and procedures, including pricing, financing, and vehicle delivery guidelines, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to ethical behaviour, honesty and integrity, in all interactions.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately to finalize pending sales in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Executing the handover of vehicles to customers to ensure that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
  • Transitioning customers to the service department to support the ownership experience.
  • Staying up to date with the latest product features, industry trends and competitors, to continuously improve sales techniques and strategies.

Key competencies, qualifications and experience required:

  • A minimum of five years’ sales experience, preferably in automotive sales
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and up to date vehicle technology
  • A minimum of five CXCs at level 2 or above, including Math and English
  • A proven track record of success in sales
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Valid General drivers’ license, with a clean driving record
