Sales Representative

We are seeking trainable and highly motivated persons who possess a sales DNA to join our team as a Sales Representative. This role is ideal for self-driven individuals who enjoy helping others, have strong communication skills, and are eager to enjoy competitive earnings.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Primary Duties

• Identify clients’ insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures, both insurable and uninsurable.
• Promote and explain insurance coverage to potential customers 
• Generate and pursue new client opportunities, including scheduling appointments and presentation of proposals to prospects. 
• Complete coverage by delivering policies and certificates, planning future follow-up visits and evaluating the client’s needs.
• Remain current with insurance rates and guidelines.
• Prepare and submit weekly schedule of sales activities
• Execute targeted sales strategies to potential customers of public and private entities.
• Prepare monthly reports as it relates to sales and increase method of sales.
• Advise and assists clients with claims reporting process.
• Maintain a courteous and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers and other business contacts. 
• Able and willing to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the business

Qualifications and Experience

• Insurance Diploma or Insurance Certifications
• A minimum of 5 CXCs - including Mathematics and English Language
• A Minimum two (2) years’ working experience in a sales position
• A reliable motor vehicle is an asset
