Medical Disposables & Supplies Limited Invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the post of

CONSUMER SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the planned sales turnover and market coverage through regular visits to all potential sales outlets in Kingston, as per the route plan, while maintaining the highest standards of performance.

 Duties will include:     

• Sale of company brands in line with Company Policy and brand requirements with the primary aim at achieving sales volume and profit margin targets;
• Achieves daily and monthly sales targets by ensuring complete and proper coverage of the allocated area;
• Be able to articulate the product features and benefits to the customers
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to customers.
• Knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences
• Establish, develop and maintain cordial business relationships with current and prospective customers;
• Submits weekly activity reports to Supervisor for the designated region;

• Ensures that all outlets are well stocked with all brands and packages;

• Ensures company systems are updated daily with relevant information;
• Reflects high standards of performance in implementing the trade promotions and marketing activities that relate to designated routes and customers;
• Check expiry dates in all outlets and rotate stocks whenever required;
• Ensures proper care and maintenance of company assets deployed in the field;

 Qualifications and Requirements                                                                       

• Diploma/Certificate in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field coupled with requisite sales experience;
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience;
• Possession of reliable motor vehicle and valid driver’s license will be an asset;
• Excellent sales background
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of good working relationship with external parties.
