Job Title - Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Research, identify, develop action plan to target new business opportunities across the public and private sectors, including government agencies, law enforcement, security companies, and corporate clients.
  • Develop and Maintain Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing key stakeholders via internal communication and field visits, to potential clients to secure long-term partnerships and collaborations.
  • Expand Market Reach: Promote the institute’s training programs, certifications, and consulting services to new clients, particularly focusing on local, regional markets and international opportunities.
  • Client Engagement and Proposal Development: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs. Create invoices, quotations, training packages and customized training proposals that align with the clients need.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities, and work closely with the management team to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and achieving revenue targets.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Work alongside operational team to create promotional campaigns, ensure smooth service delivery and track client satisfaction.
  • Targets: Work alongside Sales Officer to meet and exceed sales targets/KPIs to contribute to the institute's growth and financial success.
  • Other Related Duties: Perform other related duties as may be required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in business development, sales or marketing.
  • Knowledge of the Caribbean market, would be an asset.
  • Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve business growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a reliable vehicle

Job Title – Sales Officer

  • Engage with potential clients and stakeholders to understand their security challenges and promote the appropriate services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation.
  • Create quotations, invoices, prepare and present proposals inclusive of customized training proposals that align with the clients need.
  • Maintain database of clients and provide weekly reports.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs to contribute to the institute's growth and financial success.
  • Collaborate with business development and operations teams to create promotional strategies and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required.
 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in sales, preferably within education sector or B2B sales.
  • Strong knowledge of security and public safety issues and solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work.
