The Sales Merchandiser ensures that the Company’s Products are prominently displayed in the hardware store and ensures that the sales of the Company’s products are maximized.
Responsibilities -
Assisting all in store customers interested in our Products with product knowledge, application, pricing, colours of our Products – includes lifting products in cart, etc.....
Working closely with Sales & Marketing staff and Store manager to decide how goods should be displayed instore to maximize sales.
Generating orders for Stock to Control stock levels based on forecasts for the seasons.
Reporting awareness of changes of competitors' prices and promotions.
Monitoring slow selling Company & Competitor products and submitting respective reports.
Gathering information on customers' reactions to products and promotions.
Paint mixing using a computerized colorant dispenser and shaker.
Keeping a log of all customers’ colours mixed and contact numbers
Education & Minimum Requirements -
5 O’Levels including Mathematics & English.
2-3 years’ experience in a Merchandising or sales field.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication/people skills, very good sales and speaking skills.
