Sales & Marketing Officer

We're hiring a Sales & Marketing Officer

You are a high-performing Sales and Marketing Officer ready to help our team meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by building and maintaining a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role generates revenue, maintains relations with existing and previous clients to identify their product and service needs, and alerts them on new products, services, and solutions that may be of benefit to them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
• Research and acquire clients on a consistent basis through daily phone calls, e-mails, professional networking events
• Search the labor market, and newspapers to identify potential clients.
• Conduct introductory meetings with potential clients in order to secure businesses.
• Maintain a strong relationship with current and past clients and ensure high standards of service.
• Prepare weekly & monthly sales forecasts & reports
• Coordinate interviews along with the talent acquisition team to ensure candidate fitness according to the client’s requirements.
• Prepare business proposals, draft contracts, and best-suit packages for potential clients
• Manage all sales flow & client journey through RecruitCRM
• Lead the development of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness 
  
• Design and implement marketing plans for company products/services.
• Collaborate with media representatives and sponsors to build brand awareness
• Lead all Marketing and promotional projects from concept to execution
• Support the team with other responsibilities as required by the Managing Director
• Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand consumer requirements, identify market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Sales
• 2+ years of experience in a business development/sales role
• A Certificate in Social Media Management/Graphic Design is a distinct advantage
• Exposure to any email marketing software/platform is a distinct advantage
• Proven track record of meeting and or exceeding sales quotas/targets

• Entrepreneurial and excellent at pitching new concepts through impactful business cases that demonstrate meaningful value for money
• Proven results in partnerships, including negotiating agreements, navigating complex organizations, onboarding clients, and managing/optimizing ongoing relationships
• Understanding of market trends, analytics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence data
• Comfortable managing through change and working in a fast-paced environment
• A good understanding of the Jamaican business climate and the need for our services
• Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
• A demonstrated passion for helping small businesses grow
