Our client, A medium sized business operating in the wholesale and retail of food and beverage, is seeking to recruit and retain a suitable individual for the position a Sales Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the customer base, building long term relationships and maximizing sales.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

¨       Management of daily sales and marketing functions:

¨       Implement and execute annual Sales and Marketing budgets.

¨       Analyze industry trends and Identify ways to strengthen and enhance performance.

¨       Work closely with suppliers to promote and market new retail brands.

¨       Establishing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and customers.

¨       Train and motivate staff to obtain maximum results and achieve targets goals.

¨       Should be a self- starter, strong team player and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications & Skills Required

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

 ¨      Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration.

 ¨      Ten (10) years’ progressive work experience in Sales or Marketing with at least three years (3) in retail and                     wholesale.

 ¨      Extensive knowledge of business operations and risk-based techniques.

 ¨      Experience in the execution of marketing promotions of goods and services.

 ¨      Ability to manage and supervise staff efficiently

Candidates should also be adaptable, detail oriented, analytical and possess strong negotiation skills, along with excellent time management and organizational skills.
