A well-established manufacturing company is seeking to recruit a high performing Sales Manager to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth targets. He/she will design and implement innovative and competitive sales strategies to maximize sales.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and market share.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and team as well as analyze sales trends and reports.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Manage objectives setting, training, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills and abilities

  • Ability to create and implement sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and sales management skills with the ability to train and develop his/her team.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to motivate his/her team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform strategy.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities successfully.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

Education and Experience

  • BSc/MSc degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity with proven track record of positive sales performance.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years’ sales experience.
  • Prior experience in a Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment a definite advantage.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
