Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue goals, develop and execute sales strategies and drive new business.

Key Focus Areas

Sales Strategy and Planning

▪     Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals

▪     Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and develop campaigns that align with sales strategies

▪     Provide actionable insights and report to management on sales activities

 

Team Leadership and Management

▪     Lead, motivate, and manage the sales and marketing team to ensure targets are met

▪     Establish, monitor, and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs

▪     Ensure effective lead generation and follow-up processes within the sales team

▪     Ensure the entire sales process is effectively managed from lead generation and site visits to design and customer contracts.

 

Client and Relationship Management

▪     Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and key business partners ensuring customer satisfaction

▪     Manage negotiations with clients and resolve any escalations as necessary

▪     Ensure the sales team maintains high standards of customer service

 

Financial and Budget Management   

▪     Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expenditures

 

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

▪     Work with the marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging and customer engagement strategies

▪     Collaborate with the marketing department on lead generation initiatives and assess the quality and quantity of   leads provided

▪     Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction

▪     Coordinate with the operations team to ensure that customer job specifications are accurate. 

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in consultative sales or related Sales Manager experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
  • Team Leadership experience is essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
