Career Opportunity: Sales Coordinator

Location: St. Mary Office

JP Tropical Foods Limited, a subsidiary of Pan Jamaica Group, is a diverse, fast-growing Company and the nation’s leading supplier of high quality fresh produce with export markets in the U.S.A. and Caribbean is seeking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate must be results oriented and highly motivated to be a part of a dynamic Commercial team charged with leading the sales agenda for the Northern section of the island.

The key requirements of this role are as follows:- 

• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures to achieve and exceed the sales team’s 

  budgeted contract and job sales monthly.

• Support the annual sales plan to help identify growth opportunities

• Review monthly sales results against the expectations expressed in the prior forecast.

• Ensure there is strong collaboration between Sales and Operations to ensure all customers

   are served.

• Provide day-to-day communication with sales staff to inform, encourage, inspire, and cover

  the issues that affect their work and the impact it has on our customers and our staff.

• Ensure all occupational health and safety requirements and legislation are adhered to

  throughout day-to-day activities.

 

Other responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to):-

 

• Monitor sales pricing.

• Build and maintain relationships with customers on an ongoing basis.

• Support a culture of high performance through regular meetings and feedback to the team

• Maintain continual correspondence between yourself and the Commercial Manager on any

  changes that have occurred or may be occurring. that will affect current or future trading to  

  a material extent

 

To be a part of our Team the following qualifications, key competencies and qualities are required:-

  • At least a first degree/certification in a related field with at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Sales oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong MS Office or spreadsheet skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
  • Ability to encourage team development and performance improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize without supervision.
  • Experience in managing projects. Knowledge of budgets and basic financial awareness.
  • Strong analytical, trouble shooting, time management and problem-solving skills.
