A large DISTRIBUTION and FOOD MANUFACTURING COMPANY is seeking to employ qualified, performance-driven, experienced, and dynamic Sales Associates to actively engage their St. Thomas and St. Catherine -based customers.  A key function of selected Sales Associates will be to prospect continually to find new businesses and opportunities to expand their accounts list. Key Responsibilities/ Traits:

  • Achieve monthly sales budgets and manage assigned customers profitably.
  • Achieve or surpass minimum growth standard in customer base.
  • A strategic thinker – who can meet the company’s deliverables and surpass customers’ expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing, and listening.
  • Maintaining positive business relationships internally and externally.
  • Perform profitability and growth analyses of existing and potential customers and apply required strategies.
  • Target-driven with the ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Pleasing personality traits coupled with creative and innovation planning skills.
  • Ability to do public presentations.
  • An understanding of local and international sales trends.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in Business or any other related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record.
  • Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
