The Sales Associate for an Accounting firm plays a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and acquiring new clients. This individual will be responsible for promoting the firm’s services, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals. The Sales Associate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of the firm’s services to potential clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
• Conduct introductory meetings and presentations with prospective clients to understand their accounting needs and challenges.
• Educate clients about the range of services offered by the accounting firm and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including negotiation and contract signing.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential clients.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Set and achieve ambitious sales targets in alignment with the firm’s business objectives.
• Track sales metrics and performance indicators to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• At least two (2) years’ experience in Customer Service and Sales
• Minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE O' Level passes or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the accounting or professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
