business specializing in the distribution of Porcelain Tile, Ceramic

Tile, Natural Stone, and related accessories. Our showroom in Maraval

serves as a hub for sales and customer service, providing detailed

product information, pricing, and order management to a diverse

clientele including homeowners, contractors, architects, and interior

designers.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to

join our team at our Maraval showroom. The ideal candidate will be

passionate about providing exceptional customer service while helping

clients select the perfect products for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

-Welcome and assist customers in the showroom, providing professional

and knowledgeable service

- Process sales transactions including cash and credit card payments

- Maintain detailed knowledge of our product inventory, including

porcelain, ceramic tiles, natural stone, and accessories

- Guide customers through product selection based on their specific

project requirements

- Prepare quotations and process orders accurately

- Maintain showroom organization and product displays

- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding product availability

and deliveries

- Assist in inventory management and stock taking

- Document and follow up on customer inquiries via phone and email

- Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotions

Required Qualifications

- Secondary education completed

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in basic computer applications

- Ability to work in a dynamic retail environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Ability to work Saturdays (9am to 1pm) as part of the regular

schedule

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience

- Knowledge of tile or construction industry

- Experience with customer relationship management

- Background in interior design or related field

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

- Closed on Sundays and bank holidays

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Capable of lifting and moving tile samples
