The Sales Accounting Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that all proceeds received on the Company’s behalf are completely, accurately and promptly recorded, lodged and updated to the relevant trade receivables accounts.

Main Function
The incumbent is responsible for:
- reconciling all dispatch made to drivers for deliveries to customers, to ensure all items are satisfactorily accounted for either through a sale or return to stock.
- proceeds received on the Company’s behalf are completely, accurately and promptly recorded, lodged to the Company’s bank account and updated to the relevant trade receivables accounts.
- Promptly, accurately and completely updating customers’ accounts with sales and payments.
- Promptly and accurately process the staff sales and credit notes for internal and external customers.
- Disseminate information to customers promptly regarding credits on their account.
Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- At least 5 CXC or GCE including Mathematics and English
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Word
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- At least two years’ experience as an accounting clerk
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Superior telephone skills etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service orientation
