Safety Manager

A reputable company in the aviation services industry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to lead and maintain its Safety Programme.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s Safety Programme across all operations.
• Conduct thorough accident and incident investigations, and ensure timely reporting and follow-up actions.
• Monitor and report any safety or security breaches, and submit detailed reports where required.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate safety training and awareness programs for staff to ensure understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure full compliance with safety and security procedures and standards set by the company, client airlines, JCAA, Airport Operations, IATA, and ICAO.
• Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring all team members adhere to established safety procedures.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant management qualification
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and best practices
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience at the management level
• Prior working knowledge of the airline industry would be an asset
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluency in English required.
