AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Leads the development and execution of the operational and strategic Health and Safety agenda of the Company by proactively identifying safety risks in the business and developing targeted risk reduction programs that are closely aligned with the overall Company Health & Safety strategy. The incumbent will also be responsible for facilities and asset management across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HEALTH & SAFEFTY
 Ensures that Heineken Saint Lucia is compliant with local, regional and Heineken health and safety regulations.
 Leads the Company Safety & Security Committee and participates in the reporting, investigation and implementation of countermeasures to prevent workplace accidents.
 Develops, tests and leads site emergency and disaster response including evacuation as well disaster shutdown and startup plans.
 Coordinates the Company's security programs to determine the appropriate planning and development of the short- and long-term security strategy.
 Manages and oversees the activities of the outsourced security service provider.
 Conducts regular safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and machinery to proactively identify hazards and ensure compliance with health, safety and security standards by employees, visitors and contractors.
SAFETY TRAINING

 Identifies health and safety training needs for managers and supervisors, as well as operational personnel (internal and third-party) on topics such as laws, safety regulations, monitoring of hazardous conditions, use of safety equipment etc.
 Designs and delivers impactful Safety training programs to build safety competency among employees.
 Promotes Company-wide awareness of Safety programs and Safety reporting platforms to foster a strong safety culture.
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
 Manages facility repair and improvement projects, ensuring timely execution, full completion, and budget adherence.
 Ensures long-term viability of building facilities by developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
 Responsible for the development and management of Repair and Maintenance (R&M) budget for all related building repairs across the organization.
 Responsible for the analysis of PPE needs and the development and management of annual PPE budget.
 Plan and execute CAPEX safety improvement projects, ensuring alignment with Company safety goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
 BSc in Industrial Safety, Engineering, Project Management or other related field.
 A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Industrial Safety within the Manufacturing industry
 In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH or equivalent safety certifications
 Experience with CMMS software
