The SALES CONTROLLER will ensure that the distribution bins and sales accounting activities are completed efficiently to minimize the company’s assets to any exposure of loss whilst ensuring the sales processes are optimized.

MAIN PURPOSE

The SALES CONTROLLER will ensure that the distribution bins and sales accounting activities are completed efficiently to minimize the company’s assets to any exposure of loss whilst ensuring the sales processes are optimized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attesting and verifying the Accounts Receivable Management Process and related working papers to ensure all bone-fide monies due to the company are accounted for, likewise take corrective action to minimize any risk or exposure;
  • The activities of the Bin Warehouse are carried out in an expeditious and efficient manner to optimize the sales experience of the independent contractors, whilst adhering to all relevant control procedures;
  • Ensuring the Wholesale Outlets are operating effectively through mixing the right product on time in full, assuring all monies due to the company are collected and deposited on time, take corrective action where necessary to address all operational deficiencies;
  • Regular Audit of the Company’s Fuel Receipt and Storage System;
  • Audit and corrective action for the Companies Basket/Tray’s Inventory;
  • Daily Audit testing of the MMA/ Handhelds;
  • Adherence to the Companies Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Policy;
  • Adherence to the Company’s Security Policy;
  • To always, act in the best interest of the Company and to safeguard the property and other assets of the Company;
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities, which may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A First Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in Sales Management, Strategic Planning, Communication Skills, Data Analysis;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft of MS Office Suite in particular MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
