Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, with a strong background in offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Analysis: Lead the design, selection, and analysis of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors.
  • Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to rotating equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee projects related to the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Compliance: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for all equipment and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering, with at least 5 years in offshore operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of engineering software and tools for design and analysis. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in rotating equipment and offshore safety.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
