Overview: KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) is seeking a talented and motivated Risk and Compliance Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, your analytical expertise will be vital in identifying trends and mitigating potential risks, while your ability to present data insights clearly will support informed decision-making across the firm. You will report to the Risk Management Director and collaborate closely with IT and security teams to uphold our commitment to high standards of compliance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data for compliance analysis.
• • Validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
• • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing compliance reporting.
• • Present findings in a clear and compelling manner to help the firm identify trends and instances of noncompliance.
• • Conduct control gap assessments on IT processes and report on findings to drive improvements.
• • Advise and assist teams regarding compensating control alternatives when security requirements cannot be fully met
• • Generate and report on metrics and key performance indicators to track compliance and risk management effectiveness.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• ​ Bachelor’s degree Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in risk or security experience, preferably within a large professional services environment
• Understanding of security principles, IT and security controls and related technologies and products is  a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.​

Special Conditions:

• Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• ​Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to use information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
• ​May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
