The Caribbean Credit Card Corporation Limited (4Cs) is a technology and e-Payments processing company operating in the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis. The Corporation is a 24/7 operation with a team of approximately 70 employees, providing services across the Caribbean Region.

Reports to: Manager-Risk & Compliance

 

Job Summary:

The Risk Management Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and enhancement of the risk management program within our organization, under the direction of the Manager – Risk & Compliance. This role will drive a proactive risk culture by anticipating and managing the risks of our dynamic operating environment, to ensure the company's longevity and success.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Contributes to the strategic management and planning processes, ensuring the process for managing risks is integrated with strategic planning and implementation.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and monitor the day-to-day risk management activities of the company consistent with the established ERM program, by effectively identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring risks.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Investigate, document and report on risk incidents, overseeing the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain risk tools and systems
  • Ensure the proper documentation and subsequent maintenance of risk management matters.
  • Prepare periodic risk management reports to management, which capture significant risk issues, ensuring appropriate discussion, decision making and actioning.
  • Prepare risk reports for external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors
  • Ensure compliance with risk management policies and controls
  • Collaborate with executive management and staff to effectively incorporate the ERM program within systems, operations and programs, ensuring a unified approach.
  • Maintain an up-to date system database (i.e. the Risk Register) to record all risk management actions for monitoring and follow-up.

NORMAL HOURS OF WORK   

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance or a related degree, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
  • Risk & Compliance management certification (e.g. ACAMS, FRM, CRM) would be an asset
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial services environment and/or Insurance particularly in Risk Management and Compliance

 

Salary

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
