Revenue Manager

Oversee the revenue accounting, recognition, and assurance processes within the Finance Shared Services organization. This role ensures accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and optimization of revenue streams within each reporting entity of One Communication

CRITERIA

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) is required.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role within the telecommunications industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with revenue assurance methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite) and revenue management tools.

DUTIES

• Oversee the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and other relevant accounting standards.
• Lead revenue assurance initiatives to identify and mitigate revenue leakage across billing, pricing, and interconnect processes.
• Collaborate with the Billing and IT teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely revenue realization.
• Manage the reconciliation of revenue accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Develop and maintain policies and controls to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of revenue reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including revenue accruals and financial statement preparation.
• Review with commercial to analyze pricing, contract terms, and their impact on revenue.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements related to revenue streams.
• Implement automation and process improvements to streamline revenue-related workflows.
