Returns Clerk

 

JOB SUMMARY:

To ensure the efficient, timely and accurate returns of inventory.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Receive and accurately record returns from the trade by sales representatives, customers and haulage contractors.
  • Ensure returns are separated by saleable and damages; emphasis on lot# an expiry date verification.
  • Prepare and distribute daily returns reports.
  • Monitor the weighing and put away of returns from trade
  • Document contractor charges where damages are noted due to contractors’ errors
  • Liaise with customer service and credit departments to ensure that RMAs are processed in a timely manner.
  • Process returns via system to update inventory and physically return to respective physical space.
  • Print and compile credit notes.
  • To ensure the security of the company assets e.g stock, equipment etc.
  • Assistance in other areas when needed.
 MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 CXC passes
  • Minimum one (1) year working experience in a Warehouse environment.
  • Ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Mature and responsible individual
  • Keen organizational skills
  • Flexible individual
  • Proficient in the use of the Computer application – Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Oracle application would be an asset
  • Must be self-disciplined
  • Team player
