Retail and Commercial & Industrial Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing Retail Network and commercial CAPEX projects, preventative maintenance activities, and development & construction activities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and executing Retail Network CAPEX projects annually within budgetary and timeline projections.
• Planning and executing Commercial & Industrial CAPEX projects annually within budgetary and timeline projections.
• Planning and executing preventative maintenance activities within Rubis Jamaica Network.
• Coordinating development & construction activities throughout the Rubis Jamaica Service Station Network on a timely basis to minimize disruption to company activities.

Key deliverables will include but are not limited to:

• Securing contractors to deliver goods and services to complete Retail Service Station Network Projects

by:

o Developing Scope of Works, Budget & Schedule for projects

o Issuing the Scope of Work to qualified contractors & answering any inquiries they may have

o Reviewing & Recommending the awarding of works to contractors

• Maintaining meticulous records regarding project timelines and expenses to ensure adherence to

company standards.

• Ensuring the timely delivery of equipment and materials to project sites
• Participating in post project contractor evaluations
• Ensuring all executed works conform to Regulatory and HSE compliance standards
• Ensuring the safe execution of Retail and C&I network projects through the use of RAPNET work

permitting and Daily 5x5x5 project toolbox meetings for personnel

• Ensuring timely preparation of purchase orders and payment to suppliers for project execution

• Meticulous record keeping for project timelines and budgeting using company software

Skills and Attributes:

• Experience using Smartsheet or Microsoft
• Projects or equivalent software
• Knowledge of safety requirements in an industrial environment

Qualification, Experience

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• 1 year experience in a technical capacity
