POSITION:     Retail Sales Associate

An established multi-faceted customer-centric retail organization requires a dynamic individual to join our team in the role of Retail Sales Associate.  The company specializes in the retailing of locally manufactured foods, craft and other products and operates continuously at the Norman Manley Intl airport, 24-hour 7-days each week. The successful individual will be assigned to work on rotating shifts. 

Role

Reporting to the Store Supervisor, the Retail Sales Associate is responsible for engaging customers in a fast-paced environment to quickly identify and fulfil customer needs through superior product knowledge and exceptional customer experience, while meeting the required sales targets and ensuring accuracy in daily sales processing, settlement, and reporting functions.

Qualification & Key Competencies

• Minimum of five (5) CXC passes including Mathematics & English Language
• A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related position
• Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers.
• Proficient in the use of a Point-of-Sale system and MS Office suite.
