Restaurant Staff: Bartender/Mixologist Waiters/Waitresses Kitchen Assistants Bar Backs
Job Overview:
At Vizma Restaurant and Lounge, high quality food, drinks and customer satisfaction is of the highest priority. We are seeking qualified and experienced team members to fill the following positions:
- Bartender/Mixologist
- Waiters/Waitresses
- Kitchen Assistants
- Bar Backs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer questions and make suggestions accordingly.
- Assist in managing the restaurant's inventory, inclusive of informing the Manager timely on any issues, packing supplies when required, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure you respective work area is always clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train other staff members in your respective area, and on customer service standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, tastings, and promotions to drive restaurant sales.

Qualifications:
- Certification in hospitality will be an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to connect with guests.
- Effective communication and multitasking abilities.
Working Conditions:

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- Physical demands may include standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
