Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, optimising operations, and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management: •
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service. • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customer and staff. • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure sufficient stock.
2. Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and cashiers Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
3. Customer Service: •
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customers’ concerns and feedback promptly. • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer’s experience and foster loyalty. • Monitor front house activity and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
4. Financial Management: • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
5. Compliance and Safety: • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to maintain quality standards. • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
6. Marketing and Promotions: • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and events. • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the industry. • Engage with the community to build relationships and enhance the restaurant’s reputation.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration. •
Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
