Job Title: Restaurant Expeditor 

 

Job Overview: The Restaurant Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared, organized, and delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the front-of-house team, ensuring that the flow of service runs smoothly and that guests receive their meals promptly and accurately. Candidates must be physically strong and fit to endure long hours of standing.

 Key Responsibilities: 

 1. Order Management: • Receive and organize incoming food orders from the kitchen. • Ensure that all orders are complete and accurate before they leave the kitchen. • Communicate with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests.

 2. Quality Control: • Inspect food presentation and quality before it is served to customers . • Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant’s standards for appearance and taste.

 3. Communication: • Serve as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and the front of house .Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. • Relay any special requests or modifications from ccustomers to the kitchen. 

 4. Service Coordination: • Coordinate the timing of food delivery to ensure that all dishes arrive to the customers simultaneously. • Assist in expediting food during busy service periods to maintain efficiency. 

 5. Problem Solving: • Address and resolve any issues
