Job Description: The Reservations Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling worldwide to prospective customers by answering incoming calls, utilizing excellent communication, persuasive sales ability and world class customer service, to consult with them in reaching customized solutions to their travel needs.

 

Hours: This is a full-time, long-term position. Must be flexible for scheduling to include days, nights, holidays, and weekends This position is most easily accessible for candidates in St. Andrew, Kingston and surrounding areas.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school/GED BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 5 CSEC passes including grade 1 or 2 in English A
  • Minimum 1+ years' work experience in a customer oriented and/or sales role and 6 months experience in the hospitality industry or in a role requiring you to work well with people, negotiate, overcome objections, and/or upsell/cross sell
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, including the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
  • Computer proficiency, including ability to easily navigate and toggle between multiple screens, talk and type at the same time, and troubleshoot basic computer issues
  • Minimum typing speed of 20 to 30 wpm
  • Must be 18 years and older
  • Must possess a valid Jamaican ID (Passport, National ID or Driver's License)

  • Strong analytical, mathematical skills and organizational skills
  • Advanced computer skills using MS Outlook, MS Office and multiple specialized applications.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong initiative to exceed expectations.
  • Attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to speak read and write English fluently.
