To plan, organize, control, co-ordinate the company’s function, at the regional level, to ensure the practice of effective Management Controls, adherence to standard operating procedures and the implementation of policies and procedures in keeping with the Mission, Goals and Objectives of MMS.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  •   Responsible for guiding the activities of the Regional Management Operations of the company to ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are implemented and adhered to, and that the company is positioned (structurally and infra-structurally) to deliver service in keeping with stated mission, policies and standards.

 

  • Safeguarding the Company’s assets and ensure the proper use, care and management of equipment, vehicles and supplies.

 

                                                     QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  •  First Degree in either: Management Studies, Economics or Public Administration.

 

  • Diploma or Certificate in Project or Contracts Management.

 

  • A minimum of five (5) year’s working experience at a Senior Managerial level in a medium or large public or Private sector organization with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Supervisory Management, Contract Administration and Project Management.

 

  • Experience in the design and implementation of Managerial systems, policies and procedures.

 

  • Valid Drivers License    

           

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  •  Supervises and guides the activities of the company’s operations to ensure that objectives are achieved, and efficiency is maintained.

 

  •  Provide guidance to staff in resolving operations issues and problems

 

  • Responsible for implementing appropriate management systems to ensure the smooth functioning of the Operational activities of the company and are executed within allotted budget and timeline                     
  • Maintains direct contact with Site Administrators at regional locations island wide. This involves periodic travel, repetitive and follow-up action and constant dialogue.

  •   Responsible for liaising with clients to ensure satisfactory delivery of services.

 

  •   Participates in the monitoring, servicing and re-negotiation of contracts.

 

        Responsible for ensuring:

 

      • Development of new projects.
      • Organization, monitoring and billing of Special projects.
      • Prompt preparation of proposals in response to tenders.
      • Availability of resources to match service requirements of new projects.

 

 

 

  REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES

 

  • Strong in Client Relationship

 

  • Sound knowledge of current Inventory control techniques and practices.

 

  •  Strong negotiating, Conflict Resolution, excellent oral and written communication, mentoring, evaluative, analytical and advisory skills.

 

  •  Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Power Point, Access, Publisher, and Excel);

 

  •  Well-developed Analytical, Budgeting, Managerial, Supervisory, Administrative, Planning and Time Management skills.

 

  •  Knowledge of the Factories Act and Labor Relations and Industrial Disputes Act: - applications, procedures, practices and processes.

 

  •  Excellent Interpersonal and human relations skills and the ability to lead, coach and motivate staff.

 

  •  The ability to work well with persons at all levels within and without the organization.

 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
