Location: Trinidad (with travel to Barbados, Guyana and Suriname)

Overview:
The Marketing Executive - Regional will be responsible for driving marketing strategies and initiatives across the Schmidt Group of Companies, including Security Executive Surveillance & Law-Enforcement (S.E.S.L.), Progressive Energy, SafePro Solutions, and Smith Properties. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and marketing excellence across all business segments in Trinidad, Guyana, and Barbados. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional marketing dynamics, be results-oriented, and capable of adapting strategies to meet the needs of diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute regional marketing plans and campaigns that align with the strategic objectives of each company under the Schmidt Group, focusing on building brand presence, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the design and content teams to create engaging marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, presentations, and promotional items tailored to each business unit (S.E.S.L., Progressive Energy, SafePro Solutions, and Smith Properties).
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct regular market research to understand regional customer needs, trends, and competitive landscapes. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and enhance brand positioning.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints in Trinidad, Barbados, and Guyana. Uphold the integrity of the Schmidt Group’s brands and ensure that all communications reflect the company’s values and vision.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts across multiple platforms (social media, SEO, PPC, email campaigns, etc.), track performance, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Event Management & Networking: Plan and execute regional events, conferences, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and foster business development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and HR teams to align marketing activities with business goals and customer needs.
  • Reporting & Budgeting: Monitor marketing budgets and report on the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide regular updates to the Chief Brand Officer and senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs), ROI, and project progress.
  • Travel: Regular travel to S.E.S.L. and Progressive Energy locations in Barbados and Guyana for on-the-ground marketing activities, events, and collaboration with regional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a regional or multi-location role.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing within the security, energy, technology, or hospitality sectors is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and maximize opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms).
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Barbados, Guyana, and other regional locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in international or regional marketing in the Caribbean region.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas, renewable energy, and security industries.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus (e.g., Spanish).
