The Role

Managing the recruitment process to ensure current and future needs are met and that the knowledge, skills and abilities engaged are aligned with department/organization needs. Responsibilities includes setting the recruitment goals and guidelines, reviewing, updating and streamlining the recruitment policies, strategies and procedures with current best practices, job evaluations and workforce planning.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand vacancy requirements
  • Prepare advertisements for group wide vacancies
  • Liaise with Group Marketing team for creation of artwork and posting of ads in media
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System and job boards to advertise and attract applicants
  • Share best fit applicants with hiring manager for further shortlisting
  • Participate in the interview process
  • Coordinate pre-employment exercise for shortlisted candidates
  • Keep hiring manager updated on the different stage or processes involved in the candidate experience
  • Keep candidates engaged and informed via open communication throughout the recruitment process
  • Reduce time to hire and mitigate issues that may result in candidate loss
  • Initiate new hire on-boarding process to include but not limited to welcome package preparation, equipment and tools request, IT accesses and orientation and monitor for successful and timely completion of the process
  • Submit completed new hire files to HR department and follow up to ensure hiring process is completely satisfied
  • Process invoices from support departments for outsourced activities or purchases and submit to Finance Department
  • Follow up with hiring manager to ensure new hires are integrated successfully
  • Liaise with Training and L&D department to ensure new hires attend the nominated training sessions
  • Maintain candidate pool through constant follow up with recruitment team members
  • Update Applicant Tracking System accurately and routinely for data management and analytics purposes
  • Work closely with hiring partnership organizations, both government and private
  • Attend and participate in recruitment drives, career fairs and any other sourcing initiatives
  • Accomplish human resources and organization needs by achieving desired staffing results as needed
  • Work closely with recruiting team and new hires to ensure training requirements and standards are met

A Little Bit About You

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, coaching and record keeping skills
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or HR Development
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of five (5) year’s supervisory experience
