HR/RECRUITING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Recruiting Administrative Assistant who will assist with the full-cycle recruiting experience and provide general HR administrative support.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Provide general HR administrative support.
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, etc
  • Screens and recommends candidates for various positions.
  • Perform reference checks as needed.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Assist with the creation of adverts in digital and print media.
  • Liaise with external partners via telephone and email to ensure successful and timely completion of pre-employment processes such as; reference checks and police records (fingerprinting)
  • Assist with new hire onboarding sessions
  • Support the team in ensuring the completion of various onboarding tasks.
  • Liaise with Human Resources and other departments when required during the recruiting and onboarding process
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Application Tracking System.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Strong computer skills, including internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PC Based applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including proper grammar.

  • Ability to adhere to processes, procedures, and guidelines during the execution of tasks and assignments

EDUCATION:

NTCVET Level 3 or Higher

Associate Degree/Bachelors Degree Preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year prior experience in a similar role
