The job holder will partner with departments to identify hiring needs and use a combination of strategies to attract, source and select the ideal candidate and orient them into the Company.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Department Managers toidentifyexisting and future hiring needs and devise the recruitment/manpower plans.
Maintain a library of the approved organizational charts for each department.
Maintain the database of the Company’s Backbone Structure.
Implement systems to monitor recruitment metrics, report on trends and make recommendations to address gaps identified.
Train and provide technical support to Managers, Supervisor and Heads of Departments on the creation of Job Descriptions.
Develop and implement strategies to attract/source ideal candidates inclusive of drafting advertisements for internal and external posting of vacancies, Headhunting and networking.
Maintain a database with all Employee Requisitions received.
Develop and maintain Talent Pools of suitably qualified candidates for select positions in the Company to reduce the time to hire.
Partner with Recruitment Agencies to identify qualified prospective employees for existing/upcoming vacancies.
Implement systems to facilitate the effective and timely shortlisting of potential candidates including the administration and/ or co-ordination of entrance examinations, profile tests, preparation of recruitment Filters and other screening mechanisms for prospective candidates.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Manage the candidate experience by providing continuous feedback during the recruitment process to minimize candidate dropouts and build candidate relationships.
Conduct reference checks and generate employee contracts for successful candidates.
Follow up with new hires to ensure all pre-requisites for employment are met.
Support the new hire orientation processes by forwarding to Managers the IT Service request form, issue the Orientation video to the new hire before their start date and ensure the employee receives their Employee ID and Parking Pass.
Guide new hires through the orientation/onboarding processes and obtain feedback on the areas identified for improvement.
Prepare status reports on recruitment activities and statistics and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related Social Science.
A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related Social Science would be considered an asset.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Recruitment and Selection.
Familiarity with social media platforms and Job Boards
Ability to use & interpret Psychometric Tests and other assessment tools.
Working knowledge of Labour Laws and Employment Contracts.
Comprehensive knowledge of modern HRM approaches and techniques.
