RECONCILIATION OFFICER

Job Summary

The Accounting Officer is responsible for:

• Meeting and Reconciling Funds Advanced to Payment Centres and Selectors for Payment to Coffee Farmers 
• Timely review and reconciliation of Payment Centre Balances
• Preparation of critical Reconciliations and ad hoc reports for Management
• Liaises with Farm Services Department to ensure the accuracy of entries to the account
• Schedules and journal entries are to be presented to the Accounting Manager for review and sign-off on completion.

• Job will entail a fair amount of driving
• Keen attention to deadlines and accuracy

• Working knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting

Standards  (IFRS)  & relevant accounting principles

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

• A minimum of an Associates degree majoring in Accounts/Finance
• At least three (3) years practical experience in accounting procedures
• Sound competence in reconciliations and International Financial Reporting Accounting Standards 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Working knowledge of a manufacturing/retail accounting software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics an asset
