The Receptionist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting employees, visitors and customers while maintaining Company safety protocols.

Candidate must have the following:-

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • High School Graduate with at least five (5) CXC/CSEC certification 
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a receptionist 
  • Excellent initiative, time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Outstanding attitude with written, oral communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • A team player who is dependable, efficient, flexible with a customer-oriented approach
  • Must possess the ability to positively engage with staff and external associates.

  • Quality focus and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Use of information technology and communication technology.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves visitors and customer by greeting, welcoming and directing persons appropriately.
  • Maintain telecommunication system by:
    • Courteously answering, screening and transferring calls to the relevant department and/or company personnel.
    • Provide basic and accurate information to guests and callers, ensure responses are accurate.
    • Accurately document messages and promptly share them with company personnel.
    • Maintain and update employee extension directory
  • Maintain the mail and package system by:
    • Receiving sorting and logging mail for delivery to company personnel.
    • Log all incoming mail and packages for dissemination and acquire signatures upon delivery to company personnel
    • Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries of packages with bearers as required
  • Support the HR team by
    • Assist with staff welfare and benefits initiatives as required
  • Coordinate administrative functions by:
    • Receiving and checking off deliveries and coordinating items to respective departments
    • Manage meeting room calendar
    • Direct Office Attendants to sanitize meeting rooms at the end of each meeting.
    • Contact bearers on behalf of departments and provide instructions.
