About the Role

As the Real Estate Broker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our brokerage operates with excellence, adhering to all industry regulations while driving success through strategic growth, agent mentorship, and market innovation. You will report directly to the Interim CEO, collaborating with a high-performing leadership team to elevate the business to new heights.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Compliance

  • Oversee the brokerage’s operations, ensuring full compliance with the Real Estate Board of Jamaica and all applicable laws.
  • Represent the company in legal and industry-related matters, including client and brokerage disputes.
  • Ensure all transactions are executed with transparency and in accordance with ethical best practices.

Strategic Growth & Agent Development

  • Supervise and support a team of dynamic Real Estate Agents, providing expert guidance and coaching.
  • Spearhead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of new and experienced agents.
  • Design and implement sales strategies that empower agents to close deals successfully.
  • Serve as a mentor, particularly to underperforming agents, helping them achieve excellence.

Business Expansion & Market Influence

  • Lead initiatives to expand the brokerage’s market presence through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Guide agents in leveraging cutting-edge marketing techniques to showcase properties effectively.
  • Keep the company at the forefront of real estate trends locally and internationally, staying ahead of market shifts.

Client & Transaction Management

  • Partner with agents to facilitate seamless property purchases, sales, rentals, and leases for clients within key target markets.
  • Assist sellers in positioning their properties to attract the best offers.
  • Mediate negotiations between buyers and sellers, ensuring smooth and fair transactions.
  • Prepare and submit required anti-money laundering reports and other regulatory documents.

High-Level Engagement & Industry Representation

  • Review and endorse job letters for submission to the Real Estate Board and Realtors Association of Jamaica.
  • Act as a key liaison between the company and industry regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in high-level discussions on industry trends, positioning the company as a market leader.

What You Bring to the Table

🔹 Entrepreneurial mindset – a leader who sees the bigger picture and is ready to drive business success.
🔹 Proven expertise – At least 3 years of real estate sales experience and 2 years as a Broker.
🔹 Industry knowledge – A solid grasp of Jamaica’s real estate laws and best practices.
🔹 Strong leadership skills – Ability to mentor, train, and inspire a team.
🔹 Sharp negotiation & communication skills – The ability to close deals and foster lasting client relationships.
🔹 High integrity & professionalism – A reputation for excellence, accountability, and ethical business practices.

Required Qualifications

Valid Real Estate Broker License (mandatory).
✔ Certificate in Real Estate Training (required).
✔ A Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Sales & Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
