Sagicor Property Services Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Treasury and Asset Management team in the capacity of:
Real Estate Analyst
Have responsibility for coordinating daily functions relating to the assessment of commercial and residential real estate investments.
Collaborate with the real estate sales & real estate leasing teams to conduct analysis and provide recommendations/ guidance on real estate assets to achieve the divisions’ goals.
Coordinate and lead project teams to implement strategic initiatives for the division.
*This role involves site visits, as needed for real estate projects.
Location: Kingston
As a Real Estate Analyst, you will:
- Prepare advance financial analysis of commercial and residential real estate assets for inclusion across managed portfolios.
- Conduct and prepare macro or industry research on key real estate zones to assess for required pricing and target market.
- Assess the economic environment based on research to guide investment, product and market updates.
- Review real estate expenditure reports as provided by Project Managers, Finance and/ or Treasury to reconcile to real estate development budgets and monitor existing real estate investments.
- Coordinate the submission of Board & Sub-Committee reports.
- Liaise with the Real Estate Sales and Leasing teams for the implementation of technologies as required and lead a project team to implement strategic initiatives for the unit.
- Provide analytical support to all areas of the unit.
- Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Successful completion of the FMVA certification would be an asset.
- At least three (3) years working experience in financial services industry.
- Knowledge of the local and international market, business environment and financial tools/ software.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis and models.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to achieve and maintain a high level of productivity and impact.
- Proficient in the use of computer software packages such as spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
