Provide accurate tour information to our clients. Consistently provide safe fun-packed experiences and care for horses and equipments.
Core Function:
Provides accurate tour information to clients and consistently deliver a safe fun-packed experience.
Education and Experience: (Minimum Requirements)
- At least 2 CXC subjects including English
- A foreign language is a definite asset
- One year experience in a related position
- Certificate in public speaking is desirable
Specialised Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of all tours
- Ability to calm disgruntled and/or challenging guests
- Pleasing personality
- Ability to handle complaints
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to use initiative

- Outdoor environment
- May occasionally be required to work beyond normal hours
Duties and Responsibilities
Route
- Clean river and assist with trail maintenance as required and communicate repairs needed to your Supervisor/Manager.
Tour
- Assist with the cleaning of the River Tubing area each morning and ensure that all facilities are clean and well kept before clients arrive. This includes the gift shop, restroom and bar area.
- Patch, pump and sanitize tubes as required.
- Meet and greet clients upon arriving at the site as required.
- Ensure that guests sign the release form before starting the tour.
- Ensure that guests adhere to all safety procedures. All safety breaches must be reported to your supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Report all accidents/incidents to the Supervisor immediately.
- Provide accurate information to our guests of interesting plants etc. along the route.
- Cross promote OPR centers i.e. gift shop, photo area, jerk shack and bar
