RETAIL STORE SUPERVISOR

Assist the Manager with Store management including achieving daily sales, supervision of customer service representative and reporting of inventory and cash.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise Retail Store including Inventory and team.
• Achieve or exceed agreed monthly sales targets.
• Order, receive, store and reconcile inventory, practicing FIFO.
• Reconcile daily sales, prepare lodgments and generate Sales reports.
• Promote the products to increase sales and customers.
• Maintain good housekeeping in accordance with Food Safety and Health standards.
• Manage administrative matters such as preparation of weekly Timesheets,  Petty cash, office supplies, Food Handler’s Permits and Health certificates.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to Maintenance department.
• Report variances, theft and operational matters immediately to management.
• Attend Sales meetings and report on Store activities.

Desired Knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of  retail Trade, sales and negotiations strategies.
• Knowledge of current trends in retail consumption and consumer purchasing patterns.
• Highly analytical and organized.
• Has the ability to get things done – competitive, astute and proactive.
• Excellent administrative and leadership abilities.
• Expert user of MS Office and Inventory Management system.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Qualification in Business Management or equivalent qualification would be an asset.
• Mobile and flexible to extended working conditions.
