Margaritaville Grand Turk seeks to identify a Retail Store Clerk

FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate the Core Values every shift.

• Ensure a Margaritaville experience for every guest, every time.

• Ensure that our guests receive immediate, friendly and personalized service.

• Be knowledgeable of all Margaritaville menu items, retail and happenings.

• Assist our guests by finding items requested.

• Practice proper cash handling procedures by properly organizing your money, counting change back to guests, and following proper checkout procedures.

• Assist in loss prevention by practicing proper security safe guards as outlined during training.

• Keep the retail store clean and neat.

• Perform all assigned opening/side/closing duties.

• Act as a role model to co-workers by displaying the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

• Always display a great attitude.

• Always be a team player and help out others whenever possible.

• Always model the correct uniform.

• Thank the guests for stopping by and inviting them to return.

PHYSICAL

• As a retail store clerk, you must:

• Be capable of performing duties that may require the lifting and carrying of items, i.e., retail shipments and display items. (weighing up to 50 lbs).
• Be able to perform duties which require standing for periods up to eight (8) hours or longer, if needed.

• Be able to clearly speak and listen attentively to all guests and staff members under noisy and crowed conditions.

• Be able to perform duties that require speed, efficiency and organizational skills.

• Be capable of performing duties that require bending, kneeling and reaching.

• Be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of a computerized point of sale system.

• Be able to demonstrate proficiency in the handling of all forms of money.
