Summary:
Responsible for servicing all accounts within assigned territory- making customers aware of all products distributed by the company with the aim of generating sales consistently.
Key result areas:
· Develops and maintains the relationships with current and potential customers.
· Establishes and deploys special activities to boost product sales, distribution, and margin.
· Follows up on new leads and referrals stemming from in field activity.
· Liaises and addresses customers’ queries and concerns.
· Prepares sales plans for key customers.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Evaluate and service current customer accounts, while acquiring new business prospects.
· Manage and achieve monthly sales and collection quotas.
· Proactively manages off condition goods to minimize returns.
· Assist in monitoring the activities of the merchandizers in assigned territory.
· Develop and execute ideas to increase sales in major accounts.
· Assists management with the implementation of sales strategies to improve the competitive advantage of the company.
· Plans and prioritize sales activities, managing time and productivity.
· Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
· Maintain and update relevant customer information.
· Monitor and report on market and competitors’ activities and provide relevant reports and information.
· Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally with stakeholders to facilitate the development of a good customer relationship.
· Conducts thorough investigations to determine credit approval for customers, upon consultation with relevant Senior Management members and in accordance with CPJ’s guidelines.
· Effectively prepares and completes administrative duties to include collections template, monthly report etc.
· Completes all other duties or tasks that may be assigned or required of the position.

Education/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Public Relations
· A Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field of sales, with a proven track record.
· Prior experience in the retail and consumer trade would be a distinct advantage.
