Quality Systems Administrator/Microbiologist

The QS Admin/Microbiologist is responsible for providing support in the implementation and maintenance of quality standards across the company and ensures efficient undertaking of temporary assignments as scheduled.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct Microbiological testing on raw material and product (existing and new products) samples
• Conduct investigations arising from customer complaints regarding finished goods.
• Execute sample collection
• Manage the documentation associated with all areas of responsibility in line with established internal standards.
• Execute internal research in relation to process improvements through system analysis
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices to leverage this information with our operations
• Conduct assigned audits in accordance with established internal standards of all departments within the company to assess performance in relation to established key performance indicators and continuous improvement of the relevant processes in relation to the applicable standards
• Review and update process documents and procedures related to TWCL Quality Management System
• Undertake duties assigned in respect to the department rotation schedule
• Data entry and record keeping
• Any other related duties assigned.

Education/Training & Experience

• First Degree in Applied Science, Chemistry, Food Science or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years’ of work experience in related field
• Sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Training in ISO, HACCP, Euro Gap safety requirements
• Certification in Internal auditing would be an asset.
