The Quality Programme Assistant (QPA) is responsible for the provision of technical and administrative support to the QHSE department towards the successful maintenance and continuous improvement of EMA’s ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

The Quality Programme Assistant (QPA) is responsible for the provision of technical and administrative support to the QHSE department towards the successful maintenance and continuous improvement of EMA’s ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist with QMS development and review, conducting necessary research for QMS design, maintenance and continuous improvement and Climate Change requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and other such amendments.
  • Assist in the drafting of flow-charts, process maps, QMS document reviews with assigned departments and units- etc.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the QMS documented information system and updating document inventories.
  • Assist in addressing nonconformities (using root cause analysis, correction, corrective action, risk analysis) and opportunities for improvement towards maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 certified QMS.
  • Assist in designing, planning and executing team building and training sessions related to ISO/Quality awareness and training.
  • Utilizing online software applications to create and disseminate surveys for assessing employee and stakeholder satisfaction and feedback.
  • Entering QMS related data and maintaining tracking sheets, timelines and deadlines.
  • Assist with QMS related presentations, updates and basic measurement and data analyses.
  • Any other QMS related duties as identified by the QHSSE Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, Qualifications & EXPERIENCE

           

  • A graduate from an accredited institution with an associate degree in the Environmental Sciences or Social Sciences or any related field.
  • Certification in internal quality audits, root cause analysis or quality management would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and its related applications
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Customer service experience will be an asset
  • Accuracy, organized and time management skills
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge or training in report writing and record management will be an asset
