Quality Officer/Chemistry Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality assurance and food safety? Parang Industries Limited is seeking a Quality Officer/Chemistry Analyst to join their team and ensure the safety and quality of their products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ATP tests on various materials and surfaces to ensure contamination-free production.
  • Monitor and adjust chlorine levels in production water as needed.
  • Perform routine chemical analyses, organoleptic assessments, and quality checks for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and rotated.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements through accurate data recording and analysis.
  • Monitor critical control points and ensure adherence to food safety and GMP standards.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for physical attributes like color, texture, and size.
  • Participate actively as a member of the Food Safety Team.
  • Maintain laboratory standards, cleanliness, and records to comply with Good Laboratory Practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and industry standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF).
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and practical laboratory experience.
